For pet owners who live in apartments and don't live next to a trash can, a diaper pail is your best friend for getting rid of poop/garbage bags before your daily garbage disposal. This thing traps the smell and keeps my apartment from smelling like a derelict animal shelter. I have 2 cats and a dog so pet waste probably makes up more than half of my own trash and yet it persists and keeps those smells locked in. Pet allowed, owner recommended.
