These are a lot of fun!
I got this as a way to entertain my kid and it ended up being fun for the whole family! The set comes with too many different instruments. They are mostly made with wood only a few parts or instruments are plastic (e.g harmonic). The wood is soft and the metallic parts (nails) are hidden. Paint seems to be kid bites resistant. I think the best is the diversity of musical instruments: you have very simple (and safer) ones for toddlers and others that require more coordination for bigger kid. They include a backpack for easy storage. I totally recommend this!
