they faded. The sprayer on the factory bracket sprays slightly downwards and with a nicely distributed water fan over the windshield. The atomizer on this Dorman device simply pours water into the center of the wiper - this is an obvious difference that is unacceptable. Also, the part that the wiper blade attaches to is not at the same angle as the factory arm, causing the wiper blade to be at an awkward angle when parked. In addition, the metal is clearly not as durable as the factory material.
