Review on Robot vacuum cleaner Neato BotVac 70e, white by Wiktor Kowalczyk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Frankly, I am a fan of robotic vacuum cleaners and scrubbers. Before that, there were 5 pieces (agait - I had to turn it in, I switched to irobot), I’m satisfied with irobot scrubbers, but roomba doesn’t suit me - I didn’t call on a black carpet at all, I climbed onto a carpet with a dark purple pattern and cursed - I thought there were pits . In the agait vacuum cleaner, at least it was possible to glue the sensors and he didn’t swear on the subfloor (but the carpet didn’t vacuum well, since it doesn’t have a turbo brush and the power is less), and sticking the sensors didn’t help irobot. I suffered and vacuumed with an ordinary vacuum cleaner, waiting for the irobot to appear with the ability to turn off the sensors at least. At some point, I got tired of waiting and went in search of a vacuum cleaner robot from another company. Neato didn’t know if they looked strange and didn’t even look at the reviews, but then I came across a popular one on the market, read it, watched videos and was impressed. He really builds a map of the apartment: he does not leave their room until he cleans it; does not clean the same room twice; does not stick in the same place with a bumper; goes around bedside tables and floor lamps; remembers where he started cleaning and where the charging base is (when he finishes cleaning, turns off the vacuum cleaner, just drives like a car on the radio control along the laid path before charging! leaving the back room, driving along the corridor of complex shape, driving into the kitchen, going around the chairs, leaves at the right door to the room where the charging base stands, as soon as it drives into it, it starts to park and gets up the first time! and does not poke around all the rooms in search, but it goes along a flat route. With irobot, which really randomly drives back and forth and beats into furniture, it just can't be compared! everything will be vacuumed, and where it will reach. When a non-ato runs out of charge, and he has not yet finished cleaning the entire room, he leaves for recharging, and then returns to the place where he finished! I programmed it for cleaning every day: until every other day I find it either on a charge with a completely cleaned room and a container half-filled with dust, or on a chair leg or with a curtain in my teeth) I use it for a week, I vacuum once or twice a day and each time a third of a gl of dust from somewhere.

Pros
  • He is smart and powerful! Believe me, I tested 6 different robots (mainly irobot), this one is the best. He builds a map of the entire apartment (we have a complex layout of 7 rooms), cleans carpets well. Big wheels - good flotation.
Cons
  • All the minuses are solved in the first few cleanings: you just need to follow him and remove all the "difficult" moments. Unfortunately, it also eats small wires and thin curtains, like the latest irobots (all anti-eating developments do not work). We remove the curtains on the holders, wires - on the bedside tables) There is a real problem with the chairs in the kitchen - they have a p-reverse leg, he climbs onto the pipe of this leg and cannot get out of it (plus the cross-country ability turned out to be a small minus for me), he also climbs onto the leg of the music stand, as if on a mountain, but he can’t get off back , so he pokes back and forth and drops the music stand. I had to fence it off, but in the kitchen I still run irobot scooba every other day, so I remove the chairs.
