Previously, there was a wireless mouse that had a whistle built into it. I was concerned that using bluetooth might result in a reduction in responsiveness. At my level of use, however (office programs, surfing, games that are not demanding in terms of location), I did not experience anything similar. But there is now a mouse that you can carry with you and use with any laptop (connected to Windows, Ubuntu, or Mac) without worrying that the whistle will be lost or that there will be no drivers available for it.
