Review on TOMSIN DualShock Aluminum Thumbsticks Controller by Lan Rosales

I originally bought these because I had the R2 button lock while gaming and didn't want to spend $60 on a new controller. At the same time, since I opened it, I thought, let's change everything! This was the first time I opened up my controller and I got lucky as I didn't realize it was Gen 1 with a JDM-011 motherboard until I opened it. Installation was pretty easy with the YouTube guide, especially since I didn't know where to place the springs. This was perhaps the most difficult part of the installation. Another thing to note is that I didn't have tweezers to disconnect the ribbon cable from the touchpad, and my fingers just slipped off, so I used nail clippers to gently grasp, detach, and reattach it. Just be careful not to use too much force and accidentally pinch the cable. But for everything else just follow the video, replace the parts and repeat the steps to put it back together. Everything went exactly as it should. I like the look of the buttons, the slight roughness on the d-pad, the length of the buttons, the concave analog sticks, and the new triggers. Gives a unique look and style. Will definitely be ordering another set in the future!
