Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality of the product, especially for the money.

To what extent does a thermal cup possess the following qualities: 1. the quality of the steel used in the flask, which must be high enough to prevent the product from oxidizing and ensure that it is not necessary to continually consume amalgam or metal oxides. 2. the length of time heat is preserved 3. Can the cover be folded up or not? This is the cover that folds down. Because it is constructed out of two components, it will be very easy to clean. My prior thermo cup had a lid that did not collapse, and you were able to clean its figs. My throat hurts and I lose my voice because of something that started up there (it could be a fungus, a bacterium, or some type of mold; I don't know what it is), so it's a good thing that Stanley has a cover that can fold down. Because the lid warms up and expands, it is unable to keep the heat contained for an extended period of time. My last one did not get that warm There is currently no way to evaluate the steel flasks' level of quality. In one of my thermoses, the metal caused the green tea to oxidize and turn into a murky barmatukha-like substance. They could, of course, cover the interior of the flask with Teflon or some other form of ceramics; it is unclear why not a single manufacturer has thought of this previously. There is a collection of pottery owned by Stanley, however it appears that there is merely a stone case. Because of the odor, it is physically difficult to sip coffee or tea there; it is as if you were licking your hands while working in a garage.

Pros
  • standard thermal mug; there is nothing special about it.
Cons
  • The cover allows some of the heat to escape. Smells like products derived from petroleum
