First off, they were packaged in a box, so it was basically a big sticky bar of soap. Secondly, due to the fact that the soap ball is combined, they all smell the same. For example, I've tried half a box and felt nothing but an artificial grape smell. Reminds me of the cheap grape soda my parents bought when I was a kid. Finally shine. Honestly, who puts flashy glitter on an item they're supposed to clean their body with?!? And it's not just the topping you get from silly, shiny birthday cards. These are larger, ornate, shiny shards of real metal. And it doesn't just wash off with soap. It's built in. And it will continue to leave little cuts and scratches on all sensitive areas until you toss it in the trash. I cannot recommend this product. Unfortunately I wanted to love it because I love supporting small businesses. However, there's no point in adding glitter to soap unless it's a useless gift for a 5-year-old.
