This was an 8th anniversary gift from my wife (Sol) and I was so embarrassed when she opened it up and it looked like the metal had been rusted in two and some of the black was off the rods came off. The instructions looked like they were wet and unusable. I wanted to send it back but she liked it even though it wasn't perfect. We managed to remove some of the "salt rust" and I'm going to use a black marker to fill in the black on the pole. We plugged it in last night and it's making a buzzing noise so it might still need to be sent back but we're keeping it for now.
