The base that gets fastened to wall, baseboard or floor is made of very thin plastic and is too flimsy so it flexes and "gives" too much when attempting to clip on the cover. The cover is also too flimsy and flexes too much, making it VERY difficult to fully and properly snap into place. Also, if you're trying cover more than just one 15" stretch you'll need to cover the joint between 1 or more sections with an equally flimsy coupling/joint cover. I can't imagine how bad the finished installation will look trying to cover 4 feet with more than 3 each 15" sections and more than 2 joint covers. Pay more for a better product, likely a better known brand from a big box home improvement store. I've installed problem 6 sets of those over the last 5 years and all still look great and were much easier to install.
