Although my 6 year old has a smaller foot than the large size calls for, he wears them well. They sit a little looser on them than on a large foot, but they fit. That's all he'll wear now. He obviously went the extra mile and has texture issues, especially when it comes to socks. We were often too late to find socks he could handle and we spent way too much money trying to find ones that would fit him. These have been a blessing so far and he loves them so this is a great option for sensitive feet. They're on the thicker side, which helps cushion the legs. Like him, I find a little pillow useful, but if the shoes are tighter, it won't help. Aside from being soft and comfortable for my picky son, they also appear to be well made and durable socks. (Note: the colors we received, the grey/white range, are not shown as an option above. For now only the women's variants and the lighter color palette are shown. Hope to see more primary colors available to order again.)
