I bought the Nikon Coolpix P6000 to complement the Nikon D300 that I already have. I needed a small, lightweight point-and-shoot camera that I could slip into a bag, purse, or pocket just in case the D300 was too heavy or intrusive. I've only had the camera for a few weeks, but so far I'm happy with its performance, functionality and portability. It's ready to use right out of the box and delivers great photos. One downside (in my opinion) is the 13MP resolution. It's just overkill. But it's normal. All in all a very good camera with a pleasant feel and to be recommended.
