Review on 🎧 Enhanced Communication Experience with Plantronics Savi 740 Wireless Headset System by Adam French

I've been using these for a few years for moderate business use. Pros: 1. Clarity - no one can tell I'm using a headset. It is especially good for Bluetooth pairing.2. Range - seems to fit through office walls well enough for me to go to the kitchen and get an on-demand coffee3. Interacts well with my desk phone, mobile phone and PC. I use it for all three purposes4. The battery life is amazing. I literally never ran this thing in one work day. Lots of ways to wear it. Everyone on my team uses different methods to attach this thing to their heads. Cons: 1. There appears to be a software bug between GoTo Meeting and Savi. When I use the headset on Savi for a web call and try to hang up, it automatically picks up my desk phone line. I hope they fix this at some point since I informed them of the issue. Not sure if it's Plantronics or GotoMeeting.2. As with every Bluetooth device I've used, there are occasional pairing issues. Is that my phone or Savi? I honestly do not know. If I had to guess, it's probably my Apple device. If there's a problem after I connect the device, it stays paired until I leave the office, so don't let that put you off if you're making a lot of calls.3. I wish there was a way to set the preferred method of waking the device when pressing the button on the side of the headset. The default for me is my desk phone. However, there are times when I can make 20 calls in a row from my cell phone. I just have to press the cellphone button on the base each time to make sure I hear the ringtone and not the desk phone. Little problem.
