This product is not a necessity, it's because it exists and you want it. And I have to say I love it! It works out. It heats up to the perfect temperature - nothing too hot and scary next to your precious eyes, not too cool to be ineffective. Squeeze the lashes, squeeze/squeeze gently a few times, then hold for a few seconds, and voila! Apply mascara to your perfectly curled, uncurled lashes if your mascara sucking. Lasts all day if, as I said, you use a good quality mascara. I bought it because my regular (cold) eyelash curler didn't work for me, nor did my mascara. My lashes used to curl naturally, but I think life has been sucking the life out of them lately (my health). This fun little gadget fixed it for me. Now my lashes won't scratch the lenses, wipe off the mascara and drive me insane. And I look pretty cute again with wide open, upturned eyes — something a 40+ year old with health issues could really use right now. I don't spend money on myself but I had some free money and thought why not? I'm glad I did.
