Reference: I'm 1.6m, 153", Medium/Tall and petite in regular American clothing. I ordered a size L jacket so there is room inside for a sweater. This jacket has kept me so warm that I didn't have a sweater in it most snowboarding days. The jacket is waterproof and has many pockets with an inner layer and buttons/fasteners to protect against snow in the event of a fall. There are bungee straps on the side for you to tighten and roll up the bottom like I did in the image above. Inside is an open mesh pocket that I put my ski goggles and ski pass in for easy access. Many side pockets and hidden pockets. The only criticism is that sometimes the zipper gets stuck.
