I bought this product to brighten up my room and I love it. The LEDs are very bright and come in a variety of neon colors that can be adjusted in intensity; I think it's 16 colors to be exact (including neutral soft colors). I turn it on when my friends are out or at night when I'm relaxing after grooming. That's nice because I can conveniently pour myself a glass of wine at the end of the evening without having to go to the kitchen. I turn on the party strobe mode and keep the colors neutral when I'm home alone. It effortlessly brightens up the whole room and is a real eye-catcher - always the first thing people notice when they step inside. I've been using the display for 3 months now and it still works like new. Item arrived well packaged and was very easy to assemble. You just plug it in, press the button on the back and navigate with the handy remote control. The remote is really cool because it can work from 10 to 15 feet away. I noticed that the quality is better than what I've bought in the past. This one actually came with batteries pre-installed in the remote (always a huge bonus to avoid going to the store and spending $$)! Made from a glossy acrylic material, the walls stay solid without bending or flexing (unlike the others). It also has rubber feet on the bottom to prevent the display from sliding. This is likely to come in very handy for those getting it on kitchen countertops. The biggest difference I noticed was that the remote works effectively over a greater distance, so you don't have to get very close every time you want to change the color setting. Overall I am very happy with this product and will be buying more as gifts for the upcoming holidays. Most importantly, I'm excited to support local small businesses.
