Review on 💇 Remington HKVAC2000A Vacuum Haircut Kit: Ultimate Hair Clippers & Beard Trimmer Combo (18 pieces) by Victoria Brown

I bought this trimmer to replace a Remington MB-35 (no vacuum capability so stored and used in the heat on a Florida porch for almost a decade), a 4 1/2 star product that my husband has used for years. . Unfortunately, he threw it away before I could investigate the problem and figure out how to swap out the batteries for new, reliable batteries, as manufacturers these days don't seem to have what it takes to make newer trimmers with any sort of reliability. VPG6530 trimmer, purchased from Revain on July 11th, 2018, arrived and was charged on July 16th, died on August 24th after 4 or 5 uses {kept in an air conditioned home}. The blue charging light only stays on for about 5 minutes and then turns off, the trimmer only works for about 5 or 10 seconds. I went into my Revain orders and looked at the return option and as 30 days had passed all that was left was the support option which I chose thinking it would take me to Remington support which didn't happen, but was possible Contact Revain. I discussed the situation with a Revain representative and also noted the increase in bad reviews for battery powered trimmers. He said since I'm a good customer let me return it. I was not told that this would reduce the amount I would be refunded and the email I received gave an estimated total refund including tax of $41.33 {38.99 + 2.34 tax}. Revain's website says I was refunded 35.13 and my bank says 35.48. I'm not sure what the inconsistencies are, but I'll call Revain again to find out. I think Remington and some other companies should stop making junk food and restore the integrity they lost so they can sell an honest product and stop stealing. from us.
