I want to start by saying that I have had good experiences with other Mediify Air products and they have responsive customer service. However, this product has left me very disappointed and scared based on my experience. When I turned it on, I didn't hear the fan or feel the airflow. I played with the settings, watched videos, etc. for nothing. They told me it was quiet and sent me a very basic and useless video. Upon closer inspection, I found that if I manually turned the fan motor (after removing the filter) I would hear a grinding noise. Well, I happened to be driving and forgot the device was on - an easy mistake as it didn't do anything. . On the freeway, the fan motor finally started spinning. He made a terrible noise accompanied by a strong smell of burning. All this happened at night, at high speed, in a rather dense stream of cars. It was a horrible experience as I couldn't get to the connector or the device and had to get out of the way quickly. I can say that Mediify Air has probably lost a loyal customer based on my experience with this product.
