I bought this item in June 2018, just after Thanksgiving in November 2018, it broke. It went like this for 5 months. I used it at night to avoid disturbing my husband watching TV in the dark while I crochet. I wish it wouldn't break and last longer but I'll buy another one. I haven't found anything that works the same or better. As for the product, the addition of red and orange light caps to reduce light intensity at night was a nice touch. I've used it outside by the fire a few times. Both brightness settings were good. The collar ripped very early on but since I used it every night I only sewed it up a couple of times and kept going. Overall I like it, just a pity it took longer than 5 months. I hope there is a next one.
