The best thing about this desk is its sheer size. It is beautiful in both breadth and depth. The downside is that it's a two-piece top with an azimuth design. As a result, you lose some structural rigidity in the center and back of the table. The central support leg is absent for aesthetic reasons. So if you have an ultra widescreen monitor on a desktop clamp arm somewhere near the center of your desk, the non-base support area carries a disproportionate amount of weight. Your monitor wobbles every time you push your desk, and the desk itself has a weight shift on the back, making it dangerous to tip over. As a solution I need to buy extra support legs. An unfortunate solution for a $170 table that is very pleasant to work at. If you don't want to mount your heavy monitor on a clamp mount, this desk will work just fine. If so, be aware that there are design limitations. I love the table surface, the edges and the huge usable area in a slim format. Due to the design choices and the huge monitors I use, it just isn't stable enough for my needs.
