I bought these to wear with certain clothes and I didn't want to spend $50 or more on Chucky, 1) because it costs $50 and 2) they usually hurt my feet, so I don't wear them often when I buy them. These shoes are extremely affordable and seem to fit better than the Chucks I've had in the past. The Chucks felt too tight for my legs and rubbed on my pinky toe causing blisters. They seem to be a bit wider, just enough to give my feet the room they need. For reference, my foot is 10 3/4" long and about 4" wide. I bought size 10. There is still some room in the sock, maybe another 1/4 inch is comfortable.
