This works great and is exactly as advertised. I'm a college professor and needed to start teaching online. I bought this ring light which came with a stand. But my problem has always been that I couldn't get it close enough to my desk that my feet didn't get in the way. That's why I bought this device. It's about 22 inches long when fully extended which is great for me because I wanted to install it, I probably won't need it fully extended. But I wanted to see how durable it is and I have to say that fully extended it's still solid. And I love that it's attached to the table, so don't worry about me knocking it over. Some assembly is required, but it's very minimal. And what's really cool is that it's adjustable. So if your table is or is thicker you can use a thicker attachment point. Thumbs up for me!
