Review on BUILT 24 oz Shasta - Double Wall Vacuum Insulated ☕️ Stainless Steel Tumbler for Coffee and Water, featuring Easy-to-Clean Flip Lid by Monica Satchell

This is a large stainless steel vacuum tumbler. I have ordered several Built glasses in different styles/sizes for different family members and all recipients are happy + I was very impressed with everyone's quality and performance. Each has slightly different functions, but they're all capable of keeping drinks ice cold for over 24 hours, hot drinks hot for a couple of hours, and warm for six hours or more (for coffee and other hot drinks, I really start by filling a glass with boiling water, let it steep for a minute, pour out the water and then top up with your chosen beverage as this really helps). This glass is for me and I ordered mint green and gray which is a nice color combination (I also think I got the best of the bunch). This jar has a twist-off lid, which I prefer to a slip-on lid. I think it's safer. All solid, easy to clean. It definitely passes the leak test as I filled it with water with no problem and left it upside down for a couple of hours. The glass feels good in the hand, the base fits in both my car's cup holder and my husband's truck, and when I'm working at my desk, there's a rubber washer on the bottom for cushioning. The only downside to this jar is that for the first few uses I could barely open the lid's flap to access the hydration port. It's loosened up a bit over the past few days, but it's still a lot harder than just twisting the two-piece lid like some other jars. The jar has a capacity of 24 ounces, which is enough for me. It's big enough in diameter that I can put my hand in to give it a good sponge bath. Right now I'm mostly using it for water or iced tea, but it'll likely be hot tea (or chocolate) when the cold weather hits. Anyway, I'm insured. I am very happy with my new glass and the current price of €18.53 seems very reasonable given the well thought-out design and workmanship.
