I bought these to replace the Nilight LED kit as I preferred the mounting option for these LED bulbs; (edited 12/27)* the mounting solution is the best thing about these lights and why I still have them*. There are a few downsides to purchasing that make the $80 price tag a bit high. The same lights 40-50 on"other" sides. They look bright and will make you stand out, but they don't throw the light far at all. The Nilights I've had before were at least 50% brighter and wider, AND half the price including brackets, wiring harness (with RELAY). I already had the wiring, so I just connected the wire harness. Another big disappointment is that there is no gripping surface on the part that attaches to the handlebars or the axle that the light sits on (top and bottom). You can't tighten the hinge enough to hold it in place before it breaks. You need to add rubber bands and I ended up using a plastic tie to keep the hinge from moving. again for $80 is unacceptable. They come back and I go back to my old setup, I'll just mount the lights somewhere else. physical damage. Removing the grille improves the light performance somewhat, it's not designed for this light at all. However, the price is still too high. Also to be noted for off-road use: All fastening arms and surfaces, with the exception of the light housing and the radiator grille, are made of plastic.
