These coasters are wonderful, beautiful and practical .As an artist (oil painting) I was particularly attracted by the bright turquoise blue color in combination with orange streaks.These colors we call 'complementary', which means that in combination they increase the pleasure of our eye even more than other combinations.Artificial marble looks stylish not vulgar.The useful factor is that coasters absorb heat from for example hot coffee but won't ruin your coffee or dining table as they are attached to cork.It also means they are less likely to scratch your good furniture if they are placed on top.I was fed up with my old coasters getting dirty and worn out and found these to match my home decor r give it a new look.
