Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can't explain it, but I'm more than amazed!

Let me start by saying that I don't consider myself a true audiophile. True audiophiles invest tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of audio devices. They've been doing this for years and I'm a complete noob at this stuff. That being said, I consider myself someone who came out of curiosity about what the hype about playing good music is. With these words, let me explain my setup. I have this setup at my work station in my cube as I don't have room for these things in my apartment. Anyway, I bought this M300 DAC, Nobsound 6P1 ChiFi tube amp, Qinpu S-2 HiFi speakers and matching high quality balanced and speaker cables from Revain. I have a setup: my Mac laptop is running Spotify with a premium subscription to enjoy very high quality streaming. The Mac connects to this M300 DAC via a USB connection. I connected the balanced outputs from the DAC to the balanced inputs of the SVS SB-13 Ultra subwoofer (I know the subwoofer is too much work, but I got it for free in the garbage of our apartment buildings. The previous owner just threw it away because on the side many scratches although it sounds very loud). From the subwoofer I have RCA outputs connected to the input of a Nobsound 6P1 amplifier and one amplifier I connected to Qinpu S-2 speakers. I mainly listen to this setup through an Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. Now for the sound of the setup. WTF. I don't know how to explain it. I'm starting to hear nuances in my music that I didn't know existed before. I start to hear the performers breathing. When I listen to Milky Chance, I hear individual sounds of guitar strings. This tone is produced by a guitar string when the guitarist runs their fingers across the fretboard. These little things add so much more to the overall piece you are listening to. Listening to Canadian Brass while they take breaths to play their instruments adds a more personal, human touch to the piece. Vocal. Oh my God. The singing is rich. Hearing vocals through this DAC gave me goosebumps, especially when the songs were sung acapella. I don't know how to explain it. It's like another dimension where you just sit in your chair and close your eyes to listen. You begin to feel the singer's emotions. It's starting to get goosebumps. The soundstage becomes so wide that you don't know where you are in space and time. I look forward to going into the office to listen to this setup. Now let's move on to the specs of this M300 DAC. 6 built-in filters will highlight your experience even more. Depending on the type of genre you're listening to, this DAC has the perfect filter setting built in to make your experience even more enjoyable. The device is very easy to use and, in my case, does not require an external power supply via the USB port. It works successfully when powered by a computer. It's very easy to use. Although the manual was in Chinese, you don't really need a manual. You just turn it on, choose your input, choose your filter, sit back and relax. The small LCD display is a cool touch to the overall aesthetics of the device, but it's not needed. For what it does, the LEDs do a great job of showing what sample rate and input signal the system is using. The quality of the device itself is excellent. It feels like a solid block of aluminum. It is durable and the matte finish looks very stylish. The black glass front gives the overall impression a modern and high-quality look. Just unbelievable. So. from the non-audio head. I really don't know how to explain this experience. Anyway, I highly recommend this DAC!
