Image quality, brightness, refresh rates, etc. are okay, especially for the price. However, the input switching and the OSD are problematic. One of the main reasons for choosing this monitor is the support for 2x DisplayPort + 2x HDMI inputs, which is very hard to come by. Unfortunately, the implementation of one-button menu switching and displaying inputs is downright terrible, and the OSD (screen-to-screen) just doesn't work when no input is defined. This only pushes one monitor button: you can press it or push in a specific direction to navigate the OSD. This means that the possible entries are very limited. Verdict: A good monitor for value unless you plan on using multiple inputs. Implementing multiple input switching is extremely frustrating in everyday use. After using this monitor for a month I am strongly considering scrapping it and buying something from another brand instead. I was planning on going with a dual display port setup (which is why I chose this monitor), but that's too disappointing a price to pay for this limited benefit. Problems: 1. Sometimes when switching inputs, the monitor does not recognize the input signal. It will then shut down/hibernate so the OSD is unavailable to correct the settings. Pressing the button to wake up usually doesn't restore, instead you usually need to unplug/plug in cables.2. One button input means there is no convenient button or other dedicated method to switch between inputs. It takes at least 5-8 button presses to switch inputs depending on which inputs you are switching between.3. You cannot reliably switch between inputs unless BOTH input sources (the one you are switching from and the one you are switching to) are off AND it can detect a signal from both sources (otherwise it will go to sleep) . ). This means that it is actually not possible to change inputs when one of the source computers is powered off without disconnecting/connecting cables.4. Input recognition appears to be inconsistent when input is routed through docking ports such as the MacBook Pro + CalDigit TS3 Plus Thunderbolt Dock. Other monitors I've used don't have this problem. This monitor sometimes fails to detect a signal and goes into a continuous wake/sleep cycle. The only solution is to remove the cable. Soft restart monitor not working.5. Setting the automatic source is completely unreliable.6. When the monitor is in sleep mode, you cannot wake it up and activate the OSD to switch inputs. You must have the detected input signal active to even get OSD.7. The input switching works even less reliably if you select a refresh rate > 60 Hz. System Information: - This monitor - Input 1 (DisplayPort): Macbook Pro connected to a CalDigit TS3 Plus Thunderbolt Dock - Input 2 (HDMI): Windows 10 PC + nVidia GTX1660Ti - Using high quality branded DP and HDMI cables, designed for the right resolution and bandwidth.
