The layout of this medium sized cat house is amazing! All three of my cats love it. He's the perfect size, not wobbly, not too big. However, my cats could not use the scratching posts. It's not the sisal rope used around the poles, but some weird cardboard rope material that my cat's claws can't penetrate. Instead, they scratch the fabric. My friend and I disassembled the tree, unwrapped the scratching posts and restored them with sisal rope. It was only about $7 for 100ft and we had to buy 2 rounds to cover all the poles. It took about an hour. So if you're looking for a predominantly scratching post, this isn't for you.
