DO NOT waste your money. I'm not one to write a nasty review but this toy box slowly and surely fell apart completely and almost broke my 18 month old son's arm. I should have known better. During the FIRST assembly, the right hinge (1/3) broke and completely broke out of the box both at the back and at the top. This made it impossible to fit a slow-closing bar on the right. My husband fixed it and it worked. That should never have happened to us. Today my son opens his toy box as usual and the middle and left hinges break and the lid of the toy box falls into the toys but the left slow closing bar is still attached. . Not realizing this has happened, he grabs the lid and shuts it. The right lid slams shut, almost hitting his hand. This is totally unacceptable! I will say when it was together it looked solid and appropriate. But over time it fell apart.
