Very acceptable PC performance in a compact package at a low price.

The Avita Magus 10 inch 2-in-1 tablet offers excellent value for money. I've only used it for one day, but my observations are as follows: - Overall the fit and finish is very good. I don't see any disadvantages. The display is bright and clear, with good viewing angles. The touch function works well wherever I use it. I'm not sure about the surface material. At this price I doubt it's any type of glass or gorilla glass. The tablet portion weighs about 1.5 pounds and is 0.5 inches thick at the bottom, tapering to 0.4 inches at the top. pounds, adding about 0.5 inch to the overall thickness. When fully closed in a folio configuration, the entire unit measures 1 x 10 x 7 inches and weighs 2.5 pounds. As a guide. The new 10-inch iPad is 1/3 thinner, 1/3 lighter and double the price. As expected, the keyboard contains the usual keys. As with a ten-inch tablet, the keys are quite close together and are suitable for everyday use. Slightly small for intensive use. Key action is fine as long as there is enough key offset that you know when the key is registered. The keyboard has no power button, USB ports, or LED indicators. β€” When using a tablet without a keyboard. An on-screen keyboard appears, which is very useful for entering text or numbers. Stereo speakers with a good volume are located on the underside of the tablet. There are no volume buttons on the tablet. Therefore, volume control should be done through the regular on-screen speaker icon or through the speaker volume keys on the keyboard. The part I don't like is that it's a folio device. This means the underside of the keyboard is covered in a thick plastic material that wraps around the back, and the back is where the real tablet rests. This material has a magnetic connector attached to the back of the keyboard. The tablet can be easily connected and disconnected there. The tablet connector only attaches to this material, not to the keyboard. In laptop mode, this folio's flap folds out to form a stand that supports the tablet in laptop mode and works well. But this arrangement does not allow you to pick up a couple like a laptop. The foil material does not provide sufficient support. Therefore, using steam is best used on a hard surface. No circle! And the best way to move it is to close the tablet over the keyboard in folio mode. Or by unplugging one part of the tablet and then moving the two parts. Dual band WiFi works well. I haven't tried Bluetooth. The combination of a Celeron N4000 processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB eMMC storage (without SSD) offers very good Windows 10 processing performance for all applications except more demanding PC applications such as high-performance video. or photo editing etc. This worked very well for me. In everyday use, the tablet only heats up on the left side. It gets warmer when the processor is used more intensively, but not hot. The battery life is 4 to 6 hours with daily use. Short for more intensive use, e.g. B. Long video sessions. The included 12V charging cable is long enough to use your tablet while charging if a 120V AC outlet is nearby. Please note that the tablet does not have a USB-C port and therefore does not have power delivery or USB-C charging. Windows 10 S mode provided is easy to change to normal mode without S. Just google to find out how.- So. in general . This Avita Magus is a great purchase in the form of a small 2-in-1 tablet. updated 08/23/21. Additional Remarks 1. The place where the screen connects to the frame is not smooth. Just a tiny space where a little dust and dirt can accumulate. Not so hot what's up. a brush or small vacuum tool will remove it.2. I added the Lenovo Chromebook Duet to my PC collection. It's simpler and normal, but the browser blocks the entire system, maybe for 6-8 minutes, maybe once a day. All in all, I prefer this Avita PC to the duo. For me, Windows 10 is much preferred over Chromebook "Chrome" OS.3. Avita works 24/7 and is used from time to time. So far no problems at all.
