I needed some LED lights to light up a 1200 square foot atrium that had no other lighting. I needed something waterproof with daylight color temperature, bright enough to illuminate an area 25 feet off the ground, at least 35 feet long, and preferably 110 volts. They looked promising, so I bought a reel to try. I didn't know how many strands I needed and I was able to attach up to seven strands to metal rods stretched across the room. The outlets are at the top on one side of the room, so that will work. Using the curtain rings, I hooked a ring through each foot of the light bar and hung it on the center pole. Using the Alexa WiFi port to toggle the power on and off completed the project. On at night, a filament illuminated almost the entire room, except for about two meters to the left and right of the light, which isn't as bright. I ordered a 150 foot roll, cut two more pieces and pasted them about five feet from the ends. The entire room is now just so brightly lit at night that it appears as if it's just before sunset. The power consumption in this case is about 150 W if there are no dark areas in the room. While not what most people need, these are great lights for those who need some outside light.
