My handyman told me about these just this Winter. After 25yrs of doing my own lawn/gardening, how did I NOT know about these amazing adapters - are they NEW? Just attach one to each outdoor spigot and leave it there. No need to ever remove it. When you want to ATTACH your hose, lift the "cuff" of the adapter, and attach hose. No need to unscrew the full hose itself every time. To DETACH hose (eg: when there's a freeze coming - why else would you detach?), just lift the adapter "cuff" again, and gently tug the hose off the adapter. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Be sure to get these in BRASS for durability, of course (unsure if they even come in plastic - but don't risk that). ALL garden/lawn people must have this amazing thing!
