Disappointed with aquariums

We loved this aquarium for our new Betta. Judging by the description it has everything we were looking for. Unfortunately it isn't. What frustrated us the most is that this aquarium is totally unsuitable for a Betta (as described). After 2 days we realized that this aquarium would only be a problem and most likely our rooster would not survive long in this house. We immediately started processing and returning, looking for a suitable replacement for this aquarium. Many features did not match the description: - The system for attaching the top of the aquarium lid did not stay in place and caused problems every time we opened the aquarium to feed the betta - When trying to move the betta through the "feeding "To feed holes" at the top of the lid, the filter sucked in food before our rooster could get any. Both the bottom and top filters sucked our Betta too much (causing his fins to get stuck). In the end we had to close the filter until we were able to position the aquarium high enough to completely cover the bottom filter (leaving even less room for the bettas to move about in the tank) - Top filter: we had to do that Keep water under the upper filter to prevent the betta from retracting its fins and tail - the water discharge from the filter is too large - make sure that the betta sch does not swim on the opposite side of the water inlet - the plants do not stay in the gravel and swim up - the aquarium became very cloudy after only 2 days due to an insufficient filtration system - if you have a rooster that can jump or hit the lid, they can easily get out of this pool - there is such a problem. small swimming space for betta as gravel has to be placed over the filter (less than 1.4 gallons) - this aquarium needs to be cleaned at least once a week even with a filter - they don't provide a charger (there are cords that plug in like a Phone charger - cord only) On the plus side if you are looking for a home for something else this aquarium may be suitable (e.g. small shrimp or snails may be suitable). often shine. Many tanks like this installation have a battery powered lighting system.

Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others
