I bought these instruments because I was concerned that I would not be able to remove my aligners after attaching the tips. However, I found them much more difficult to use than just pushing the aligners out with my nails. My podiatrist gave me great tips on getting my aligners out after the tips were in. behind the lower teeth. It's okay, I did this before I got the nozzle. For the upper aligners, I was asked to take my right hand, reach to the left inside of the aligner and pull down from the inside. Then do the opposite - reach your left hand to the right inner edge of my top aligner and pull down. Once you've done this, the aligners will pop out very easily. This tool seemed to work fine, but it worked much better with just my nails. And one less thing than I have to do during the day when I'm hungry.
