Compact Peace of Mind

I live in Florida where the weather changes quickly and we've had our tough episodes. I chose this compact model when buying a weather radio because it is portable and can be used anywhere. Yes, it's a bit fiddly to set up, but that's not because of the radio. It's about getting codes and knowing which codes to use. Entering is pretty easy. So far our radio reception has been excellent. The weekly tests are coming up and I really like the feature on the front of the radio that will flash "watch", "test" or "warning" even if the broadcast audio isn't working (it has a "warning only" option ). ) Finding a suitable adapter - I've accumulated them over the years - is difficult. Right now I'm using one that's loose, but I'm not sure yet if it only uses battery power. The only issue I have with the radio is the "stand". It's really more like a clip-on bag; Haven't managed to install it on a flat screen yet. It's ok as I'd rather install it except you can't just do it. You can fix it with small screws, but then the case will remain on the wall. Overall, though, I trust this radio enough to fall asleep during inclement weather knowing it'll wake me up to anything dangerous. .
