Everything about this purchase from the design to the construction to the suspension systems gave me confidence that I had made a purchase that I will not be disappointed with. Since my terrain is not yet mature and my grandchildren are still very small, I place the swing fairly low on the ground. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the hanging fittings and the idea of making the fittings adjustable and easy to attach and remove. It consists of a rubber band that wraps around a branch (or hanging pole) and helps prevent damage to the tree. Suspension includes heavy-duty, high-quality lockable carabiners and a swivel that allows the swing to rotate without twisting the suspension cables. The best thing for me was that the entire lower swing assembly can be removed for easy storage, leaving the strap on the tree. This allows me to easily protect the swing from the sun and weather when the kids aren't around and put it back up in seconds when they come over to visit. The hardest part for me was finding a branch on my 10 year old sycamore seedling that I was sure would support the weight of several children (so I'm hanging low this year). Luckily, the swing has adjustable side straps that make it easy to adjust swing height. I'm confident that the swing's adaptability as the tree grows will continue to make it an easy system and I'm excited to watch my growing grandchildren use it for many, many more years to come.
