Mine arrived and from the start there were scratches or dirt on the scan plate that couldn't be removed. (Under the plate?) Keep that in mind. Also, the scanner does not scan light greens or blues well. I'll have to fix it in Photoshop afterwards. If you find this applies to you, you can work around it by saving some filter settings as a preset to apply to each image, which is most effective as a batch process. The bed is large so that large books fit on it, which is what I was looking for. It works, but it could be better.
