I bought some "new with tags" clothes from Poshmark that arrived with a rancid thrift store smell. Pooh. The pair were leather jackets that could not be washed. I hung the packets of coal in the closet and the smell seems to be less. The bags have a thick, burlap-like exterior with a metal sleeve and cotton rope hanging cord. Cord is great for loops over hangers like mine. They can also be stuffed into pockets, tossed in drawers, or tucked between pillows. They are small enough to take with you anywhere. The filling looks rough and crushed, like heavy muesli. I assume these are lumps of coal. I don't really like the big blue logo embroidered on the front. He's kinda "loud". You can see in my photo that I folded the pocket inside on the hanger to hide it.
