Super non-intuitive setup and documentation is a nightmare.

I've been trying to set this up for hours with no success. I tried a quick setup first (no app) and everything started fine and then just finished. He's supposed to type into a blank notepad and let you know when he's done setting it up. I never finished - no message that it finished, it just stopped immediately after setting the self destruct PIN. Okay I thought maybe I just need to go ahead and download the app. Everything was going fine at first until he asked me to switch to admin mode. Couldn't figure out how to do it (probably just holding down the "6" key for 5 seconds) and had to google the error I was seeing to find out that you had to enter your PIN (no prompt for it at all). the device into administrator mode. Okay, I figured it out and was able to complete the setup and create a backup phrase. Hooray, I thought, I'm somewhere now. Not right! I've tried setting one of the device slots to my PayPal account - it doesn't seem to be storing any information at all. I have no idea why. Then I tried to link the device to my LastPass. I found the online documentation and started following it only to get halfway through and NOT be asked to re-enter my verification code AND the slot setup (according to the online documentation EXACTLY) still doesn't save the info. At this point I give up. . I've been at this too long. The "messages" in the app at the bottom of the screen flicker too quickly and you only see the last two (which usually literally just end with numbers, so "11" and "12" or something), so I can don't really see what the app says happened. I have no idea what half the device settings in the app actually do as I can't find any good documentation explaining this. I suspect someone with a lot of patience and tech skills could figure it out, but if you're not that person I'd recommend that you think twice before getting it.
