I don't know if the problem is with the screen protector on my 10 inch Nook or with this product. However, the Nook only responds to the stylus if I apply too much pressure to it. Works well on my Note 9 phone so I'm leaning towards the screen protector or the tablet itself - with the new Nook 10.1 I've yet to find the 'Touch Sensitivity' setting, try adjusting that
