We purchased this item 3 months ago but only started using it 2 months ago while remodeling my son's room. I was looking for some whale and cotton and this hit the spot. However the duvet started to tear as did the little plush whale which is disappointing after 2 months of use. It will also be difficult to fix because it doesn't look like it. It's a duvet, so I've only washed it once according to the care instructions, so I don't know how that could have happened. I can better understand the stuffed animal because it's a lower quality stuffed animal and kids tend to scatter them around. But why does the blanket crack with normal use x 2 months?
