Review on Larswon Sling Backpack by Carrie Spencer

We bought three of these for a family outing. At first we thought they were big enough, but we didn't load them and test them at home before the trip - that's at our expense. When we got to our destination, we found that the backpacks didn't hold up as much as we had hoped. They have mainly flat pockets that mainly hold flat items. All bulky items changed the way backpacks were placed and made them uncomfortable to carry. Additionally, the water bottle pouch does not securely hold most of the common steel water bottles on the market today. We actually had a water bottle fall out of a bag causing property damage just a few steps from our hotel room. After a day of moderate use, the clip that secures the shoulder strap to the bag is loose behind the hook and has shifted to a position in front of the hook). After the second day of moderate use, the short strap sewn to the base of the backpack broke. The backpack was not fully loaded or improperly handled. We wanted to love her, but we just couldn't. It was a pretty awkward time and we eventually switched to reusable shopping bags and a camera bag to carry our stuff.
