I ordered this light based on the reviews. Mainly because of Cindy. Cindy if you see this, thanks! Here is one such story. I'm new to home gel nails. I wanted to go to the salon, but I'm on short-time work and can no longer afford this luxury. I bought a gel nail extension kit that included a curing lamp. I had a friend who knows nails and showed me how to do a gel manicure. We were unable to cure the gel with the supplied lamp. My nails were sticky even after a few tries under the lamp. The manicure fell off the next day. So I tried again and had to spend so much time under the curing lamp that I was wondering if my lamp was bad. Again, my manicure came off despite proper nail prep and a very thin layer. Then I read a review of this lamp from Cindy and she mentioned that the lamps in the sets are not very powerful. I looked at $150 lamps which would be a huge waste of money if they didn't work so hard. I thought that I would have to pay a lot to get a normal lamp. After seeing your review I bought this lamp and NOW my nails are fine! I used the same polish. Same preparation. Everything is the same as the other lamp. Absolutely successful result. Just like in the salon! It's all because of that lamp. As soon as I put my hand in the lamp I knew I had a good hand. It was just different than the lamp that came with it. It was warmer and lighter. This lamp gives a lot of light and the light is well distributed. I only had to cure each layer for 60 seconds. My last manicure didn't have a gel peel. I was also able to make a complete set in half the time of the previous lamp. I also like that it is tucked into the wall. I'm for USB, but that means there are enough USB ports. So I can get my nails done anywhere there is a power outlet and don't have to look for a USB outlet. I'm so glad I didn't spend €150. I'm so glad I read the reviews. I am very happy that I got this lamp. Here's another five-star positive experience from a gel nail newbie. Yes, preparation and application are important, but your lamp is even more important! If you're having similar issues, save the extra $100 and buy this one instead!
