After assembling the sides with the top and bottom I can say it's sturdy, but everything attached to it is cheap, flimsy junk! The steering wheel broke after playing with it for 2 minutes, the string from the music box came off completely, the timer doesn't make any noise, when it's done the list goes on. Not to mention my 1 year old was urging him to go with him and he hit a small bump in the ground off the play mat and he fell! I'm furious after spending so much on it and life got in the way so I missed the return window and now I'm stuck with it! Save money and buy something else, make your own or find it on Etsy, just don't make the same mistake I did!
