Review on 🌊 Koralia 3G - Advanced Generation circulation and wavemaker pump by Elli Navarro

Arrived on 11/02/20. I put 2 of these 3rd gen Hydors in my 125g. The magnets are weaker than the previous generation. Hydor, so I had to put them to one side of the aquarium. The old Hydor magnets were stronger and I could fit one on each side because they were strong enough to snag when one of the wires needed to be routed around my spill box. This means that unless you have an older Hydor, if you tug on the power cord a little it will LIGHTLY pop out of position. I have 1350gph models and don't use guards for a maximum flow of 1350gph. It seems to be enough to do the job I need it for. It feels underpowered because it's designed for a more diffuse flow rather than the older Hydor's more direct flow. I needed enough circulation to keep my water clean in this 6 foot tank and these Hydors provide the extra circulation I needed. Without them, my water wouldn't be as crystal clear as it is now. I have other water circulation pumps but these Hydors help provide the extra flow needed for my job. I try to arrange everything so that the water flows clockwise upwards. 1 star deduction for weak magnets. I hope the wheels are better finished than the previous generation. those because the old impellers were the weak parts that broke first. May update this post later.
