I've taken over 1000 shots in a few months of owning a Fuji Finepix. So far he's done a decent job. In my personal experience, I've been impressed with its performance both outdoors and indoors with a flash or in well-lit areas. It didn't work very well in a room without a flash in low light. Pros: - Excellent 18x zoom with wide-angle lens. - Stunning outdoor photos in daylight. - High-quality photos taken indoors with flash or in well-lit rooms. - A strong flash. Able to illuminate a large, pitch-black, cathedral-style church. Very good image quality in video mode; 720p.-Panorama mode.-Extra retractable flash. I don't have to go into the menu every time to turn off the flash like I have to do with my Canon, which is a plus. - Good camera grip. It is comfortable to hold. - Uses 4 AA batteries (rechargeable highly recommended). - Convenient battery discharge function. - Viewfinder. - Large LCD screen. - Fast startup time. Fairly fast shot-to-shot time, savings on using flash. - High ISO values are available. - Continuous shooting is possible. Cons: - Poor photos in low light indoors. OK. No manual focus. The automatic white balance leaves a lot to be desired. This is certainly not a professional camera and it is not perfect, but it is a very good camera that many people will enjoy. Very easy to use and takes good pictures except in low light. Looks great too!
