I regret buying this product every time I try to use it. I urge anyone interested to look elsewhere and I urge the company to correct any product defects as noted below. I've been using it since December 2018 on my iPad model for which it was designed. In fact, I wish I could use my keyboard to write this review, but I can't because the battery needs to be charged AGAIN. The battery lasts about an hour on a charge, maybe two if you're feeling generous. I'm not doing anything wrong that could cause battery death. It's just a bug in the product. Do you want to feel disappointed? Start typing a document with the keyboard and then look at your screen and see that nothing is displayed because you were typing on a broken keyboard. If that's the only problem, maybe you can give it to me. But this product is full of flaws. To open the lid you must use two hands, one to hold the base and the other to lift the lid. Do you have a cup of coffee in your hand? Put it away because the damn thing is so awkward to open. Once you open it, they've designed the hinge so tight that moving the screen to change the tilt becomes tedious. And the product itself is made of smooth plastic. Do you know what this means? When encountering screen issues, the iPad is more likely to slide off the surface. You need handles that will hold the product in place when you use it. When you use it, the product cover that holds the screen is so heavy that the iPad can easily tip over when the screen is up since it's missing if the balance isn't right. Of course, this doesn't happen if you somehow secure or hold the iPad while using it. If you want it, raise your hand. Let's say you're using a keyboard and you want to use the iPad's volume controls or even the power button. If you really try, you can get to these keys, and you CAN even press the key exactly (maybe...unlikely). Be prepared to play around with those buttons, however, as the shell of this case makes those buttons difficult to access. Need more reasons not to love this product? light . Just buy it and you will find a ton of other reasons. NB: I know nothing about the company and have no vendetta or anything like that. I'm not tech ignorant because I've been around the internet and as a tech user for years and have rarely, if ever, been so disappointed with a product. I'm just really frustrated that my notebook has been wrapped around this thing that very rarely offers the functionality it should. As for the pros: it's really nice to use when it works. Too bad it only works partially on all cylinders when I try to use it. Also worth noting: I would write a 4 or even 5 star review for this product if I had only used it for the first week or two - the flaws showed up (and didn't go away) over time. I wonder how many positive reviews posted here will remain positive after three months of use.
