I originally ordered these for myself, my 13 year old tried them on and wore them for hours. We're white, but we have very long hair. I usually sleep with my hair trimmed so it doesn't wind around my neck. I figured it would be better than the sore scalp that comes from hair clips. Highly recommended to all girls with any hair type!
