Review on πŸ“± Black Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Global Smartphone - 6/128 GB by Stanislaw Kalinowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

What can I say? utterly dispelled whatever preconceived notions I had regarding Chinese mobile devices. And not only broke them, but smashed them to pieces as well. Prior to purchasing this phone, I was a supporter of the Sony brand. There was also a premium dual version of the Z1 and Z3 models. However, I have only ever purchased them in office supply stores, and they have always been riddled with bugs. Perhaps it was just my luck. The first socket was heating up, the third one had a screen that malfunctioned and had to be replaced twice because of the warranty, and the fifth one was defective in some way, meaning that it ran slowly, rebooted, and eventually heated up. While I was being tormented by the former and giving it back over for repairs yet again, I went out and purchased this Xiaomi for myself as a sort of alternative. By the way, the Z5 PD retails for 33 dollars, while the Redmi Note 5 retails for 14 dollars (these are the prices I obtained during the first few days of the launch of worldwide sales). In order to avoid derailing the narrative, I have decided to continue going out with him despite the fact that I have sold the Sony. After using the phone for a half year, the fact that it did not restart by itself and did not freeze is already very essential to me. Both the battery and the camera are in excellent condition. The only drawbacks I can think of are the sound quality of the headphones (which, to be clear, I can only compare to Sony's flagship model), and the absence of stereo sound on the external speakers (or, to put it another way, the fact that the speaker is only here 1). Since there is no Near Field Communication (NFC) technology available just yet, paying using your phone rather than getting a credit card is still the most expedient option; nevertheless, this criticism is becoming increasingly irrelevant. Following the update to version 10 of the native MIUI software, there have been queries raised regarding the use of the rocker to adjust the volume. You may recall that in the past, when you used the rocker, the call volume was automatically adjusted. These days, the volume of video playback and other forms of media is automatically adjusted (even if you do not view or listen to anything). It started making me uneasy, that's for sure. I'm taking a close look at the Mi Mix 2s because, in my opinion, it has just about everything that one may require. The conclusion is as follows: this phone is nothing short of a miracle, especially when the price is taken into consideration. The quality was quite great on och. Anyone who is sick of overpaying for the questionable quality of branded cellphones should give it some serious consideration.

Pros
  • -An impressive screen -Higher than average battery capacity -Excellent primary and secondary cameras
Cons
  • - There is no stereo sound - There is no NFC -The music is played softly through the auxiliar After setting the volume to 10, there are concerns with the volume control (more on this in the com.)
