Good for the first time. I've had MoKo cases on my iPads for years. My mini case is probably five years old and still in great shape, so the products have a good track record. Plus, this case offers the same basic functionality as the one Apple charges almost seven times as much for. It attaches securely with a magnetic backing, staying firmly in place and providing adequate travel protection and making the iPad easy to hold, just like Apple. The biggest difference between this and the Apple Folio is the lining. It's not particularly soft, while the Apple version helps keep the screen clean and less abrasive. My old MoKos had a better lining than this, which seems particularly cheap, and that's causing the problem. This case has a very strong smell. After a week it's gone enough that it's not uncomfortable to be near the case, but if you hold it for a while your hands will start to smell bad and if you're sensitive to chemicals it'll give you a headache. I know this is a brand new production run for the 2020 iPad line, so all of the accessories are pretty much straight off the production lines. It might not be that bad after a while, but right now it's of limited use to me because I don't want to smell it. It also suggests that while the Apple Smart Keyboard I received at the same time had a distinct "new plastic" smell, it went away after 24 hours and wasn't nearly as harsh as this one. Luckily after about two months the case doesn't smell anymore so I've added another star as the functionality is still excellent. I've had issues with smelly cases before, but never with MoKo. So all in all it's a great bargain, fits well (a little loose around the edge of the camera cutout) and does exactly what I need it to do, except it smells so bad I didn't get to use it for a while after buying it.
